Here's my blog dedicated to the British poster meme:
Keep Calm and Bugger Off!

This is complicated to sum up in a few words, so go read the description on the site itself:

I saw this note this evening plastered on to a bus stop notice for severe bus delays near Trafalgar Square, London.

I went to a demonstration against Nazis today. The right-wing party NPD, which has still not been banned but hopefully will, is currently touring Germany to spread their nonsense. Today, they had a stop in my city and their was an official notice to demonstrate. It’s super-important that people participate and stand up united against facism.
The note on the whistle I was given is nice - that’s why I decided to post it here on my blog. The sentence “Wir pfeifen auf die Nazis” is ambiguous. It means a) “We whistle against the Nazis” (meaning we make lots of noise with our whistles so that nobody can hear what they have to say) and b) “We are against Nazis”.
pfeifen auf jemanden/etwas = to be against something (colloquial!)
